Dr. Abi Dent’s passion for veterinary medicine began early, starting with her first job in the field. Her love for animals and commitment to being a voice for those who cannot speak guided her career path. During this time, she developed a special interest in critical care, surgery, and building strong relationships with her clients.

Professional Interests:

Dr. Dent is a versatile veterinarian with a love for all types of surgery and complex internal medicine cases. She especially enjoys meeting new puppies and kittens, building bonds with pet owners, and providing compassionate end-of-life care.

Fun Facts & Hobbies:

Dr. Dent’s journey in veterinary medicine started before vet school, where she worked as a veterinary assistant for Erickson. She was raised just across the river in Hermiston and, after finishing her education, she and her husband moved back to the area to be near family. In her spare time, Dr. Dent enjoys staying active through CrossFit, exploring the outdoors with her husband and two dogs, and participating in her church’s youth group.
